Services can be provided at the Breastfeeding Scotland Clinic, in-home, phone, or via a Virtual Consultation.
Upon booking any service, you will receive an email link to fill out your personal Intake Form and the Privacy Policy. The Intake form asks a range of questions to help best support your individual goals. Classes and Consultations are custom design for you. For insurance purposes, part of our code of conduct, and to best support you, all forms must be complete prior to your consultation.
* Please note there is a £35 travel fee for all consultations 20 miles from the Breastfeed Scotland Clinic. Additional fees apply for 21+ miles.

Antenatal Support

Antenatal Infant Feeding Consultations are bespoke individual consultations for those families who may have struggled with infant feeding in the past, expecting a complicated birth, expecting an infant with additional support needs, looking for 1:1 support, or have underlying health conditions that may affect lactation. Many of our Postnatal Consultation Families wish they took our Antenatal workshop or had 1:1 Personalised Antenatal Support. Antenatal support with Breastfeed Scotland, allows for an in-depth discussion about your upcoming breastfeeding journey, preparing your personal Success Plan, benefits of breastmilk feeding, the basics of a good latch, tips on positioning.

Postnatal Consultation

Our most popular service! From birth to weaning, Breastfeed Scotland’s Postnatal Consultations offer a variety of services depending on the needs of you and your family. This consultation is 1 to 1.5 hours and includes, but is not limited to: history, oral assessment, feeding observations, infant weights, guidance and support to help you meet your goals. We encourage all partners, support systems and family members to attend.

Pump Rental

Are you wondering if your breast pump flanges are the right fit for you? Are you having pain while pumping? Are you feeling like your pump isn’t working right? Schedule a 30-minute Pump and Flange Fitting appointment with Breastfeed Scotland, and we will help you with flange fittings, maximizing your pumping outputs, answer your questions and support your needs. HOSPITAL GRADE PUMP RENTALS – includes a free personalized flange fittings and demonstration on how to use your pump. If you do not see availability on the booking link please send an email inquiry.

Virtual support

Virtual Consultations are available for any infant feeding need from antenatal through weaning. Virtual Consultations are a popular option with our International Clients, in times of illness, or where it is difficult to come into the clinic/book a home visit. Rest assured that no matter how close or far you are, Virtual Consultations are available with Breastfeed Scotland. We are here for you.

Are you heading back to work and want personal assistance to prepare for pumping? Breastfeed Scotland offers back to work consultations for personalized service relating to pumping, your pump and feeding care plan, bottle feeding, and helping your caregiver support your infant feeding relationship.

OR a non-birthing parent or parent-to-be partnered with a birthing parent? Breastfeed Scotland is here for you. In our two hour Initial Consultation we will develop your personal plan. We will meet (in-person or virtually) to develop a personal plan. This plan is customized to your health history, circumstances, and values. After we develop your personal plan we are here to help you implement your plan to reach your individual infant feeding goals by enrolling you into our Breastmilk Feeding Without Birthing Consultation Package. Additional Support

Secure Messaging: All consults include 2 weeks of support through secure messaging. Additional support is available for £35/2 weeks or £50/4 weeks. OR Unlimited support through one year postnatal £100.

Want to be an IBCLC? Breastfeed Scotland is now offering Pathway 3 IBCLC Part Time Mentorship for aspiring IBCLC’s, equipping and empowering future trailblazers to change the world. UPDATE: Mentoring is FULL for 2022 1 full paying primary position for someone above poverty level of any back ground. 2 positions available for Mentorship to BIPOC and/or LBTQAI+ with economic barriers at sliding scale/work exchange. **All positions are full at this time Positions are for Outpatient Clinical Hours and Private Home Visitation.
